epiGenesys utilises the skills of some of the best graduates and students from the University of Sheffield, allowing us to create a fresh and exciting business at the forefront of software development. A range of services are available including technology consultancy, custom software development (including web applications), database design, maintenance, support and training.

Agile and Extreme Programming

We practise eXtreme programming (XP): an Agile development methodology. XP encourages early and incremental releases of our software so our clients can get a feel of the system before it's handed over. This allows us to adapt to client feedback and iron out any problems before the final solution is handed over. So, when an application is delivered it caters for the customer's current needs, rather than what their needs were several weeks (or even months!) ago. Work Experience

epiGenesys provides students from the Department of Computer Science at the University of Sheffield with the valuable work experience that is so often demanded by employers. Our students work with real clients through all stages of their projects from requirements gathering to delivery.
